Discussion: This poem is part of Stop Pretending a novel in poems. Novels written in poetry format have been popular in children's and young adult literature for many years. One of the first to experiment with the genre was Mel Glenn with his book Who Killed Mr. Chippendale? I'll show you some other examples in class.
