1.  Read today's poems:
           Haiku Masters
                  Voted as winners in yesterday's "Haiku Hunt" activity
2.  Assignment:
           "Comparison/Contrast Essay" (handout)
                   Read the instructions on the handout.
                   Plan the essay.
                   Write the essay (first draft is final).
                   Hand in your essay at the end of class.
3.  Do SSR if you finish your essay
              While you are working on your essay and/or doing SSR, I will pass out folders and pass back corrected work.
